Team Joos by Twin Busch will again be competing this winter in Portugal and Spain in the GT Winter Series and in the two new six-hour endurance races and is offering driver seats in the Porsche 911 GT3 R. Drivers will have the opportunity to race against challenging competition in the winter months and also prepare for the upcoming season in the summer months.
The family-run professional racing team was founded in 2007 by Hans Joos. Since then, his son Michael has also been working in the family business and has played a decisive role in expanding the motorsport activities. The team’s motorsport journey initially began in historic motorsport, where initial successes were achieved with drivers such as Patrick Simon and the Busch twins Marc and Dennis. Gradually, the team began to use more and more current Porsche racing cars and won the Porsche Sprint Challenge title in 2021 with Luka Wlömer.
The Swabian team has also been active in GT3 racing since 2020. After a few guest starts in the ADAC GT Masters, where the potential was already demonstrated, the racing team fully entered the traditional GT3 series the following year and has been one of the top addresses in the racing series ever since. In 2022, Christian Engelhart and Ayhancan Güven narrowly missed out on winning the title after two victories this season. Finn Gehrsitz and Sven Müller were also involved in the title fight right up to the season finale in 2023 – Michael Joos also won a race in the series together with Christian Engelhart as a guest entrant. The Joos Sportwagentechnik team proved that endurance racing also suits the team at the Dubai 24 Hours 2022, where the team’s Porsche 911 GT3 R finished third in the GT3-Am class.
Team Joos by Twin Busch offers the following for the 2025 GT Winter Series season:
